Do Work That Actually Matters
Join a locally owned home care team in the Chippewa Valley. Flexible hours, paid training, and the chance to make a real difference — every shift.
Why Caregivers Choose CVHC
You're not a number here.
We're locally owned — not a national chain. When you call the office, you reach someone who knows you by name. When something comes up in your life, we work with you on the schedule.
Flexible shifts that fit real life.
Part-time or full-time, days, evenings, overnights, or weekends — we build schedules around when you can work, not the other way around. Great for parents, students, retirees, and anyone looking to supplement their current job.
Competitive pay & paid training.
Hourly pay that reflects the real value of what you do, plus paid orientation and ongoing training. Mileage reimbursement for qualifying visits.
Real matching, not whoever is available.
We match caregivers to clients based on personality, location, and skills — so the clients you work with feel like a fit, and you can build the kind of consistent relationships that make this work rewarding.
We're especially looking for: caregivers in Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, Bloomer, Fall Creek, and surrounding areas — so clients close to home can be matched with caregivers close to home.
What the Job Looks Like

- Help with transfers and mobility
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and engaging activities
- Safe transportation to appointments and errands
- Documenting care visits through our EVV system
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in helping older adults and people with disabilities live well at home
- Reliable — show up when you say you will, communicate when things come up
- Patient and calm under pressure
- Able to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Prior caregiving experience is great but not required — we train
